Update: Visit FAPA YPG Taiwan Action Days, the official website for the FAPA YPG National Conference 2008!
Have you been asking yourself, “What can I do to make a difference?” Attend our annual conference in Washington, D.C. and discover how you can influence US policy toward Taiwan.
As a participant, you will:
- Network with similar-minded young people.
- Translate your passion for Taiwan into concrete efforts to promote Congressional support for Taiwan.
- Visit the nation’s capital and rub elbows with policy makers.
- Visit FAPA Headquarters!
FAPA is the only grassroots organization in the U.S. that has a permanent presence on Capitol Hill with full-time staff dedicated to advocating a stronger US.-Taiwan relationship and promoting greater support for Taiwan’s democracy and international participation. Our quarter-century and consistent efforts have given us a solid and good reputation among policymakers in Taiwan and here in the U.S. We cannot do it without the continuous support from our grassroots chapters and members nationwide, including you.
Schedule
An informal, optional dinner will take place on Friday evening. Conference sessions officially begin on Saturday morning and last through Sunday afternoon. Participants will then visit their Congressional offices on Monday morning.
For more information, including a tentative itinerary, visit FAPA YPG Taiwan Action Days.
