Hi, all:
To reward Jonathan Hwang (Steering Committee member), Alan Huang, Janice Chen and Julia Famularo for taking a day off out of their busy schedules on Monday, Aug. 18 to visit Capitol Hill and seek their elected officials’ support for Taiwan, I believe a karaoke night is in order. BTW, this will be a farewell party too since Jonathan and Janice are moving back to Boston next week.
If you are in the Washington, DC area this weekend, join us at 8 pm on Saturday, Aug 23, at Café Muse in Annandale, Virginia.
In addition, at a time like this (in light of former President Chen’s scandal), KTV is a good Taiwanese old-fashioned way to drown our sorrow.
