Hi, all:
A DPP delegation is currently visiting Washington, DC. The delegation includes:
- Cheng-Yi Lee, Deputy Director, Department of Social Development;
- Bing-Chung Lin, Deputy Director, Department of Organizational Development;
- Min-sheng Wang, Deputy Director, Democracy Institute;
- Chao-hsiung Juan, Deputy Director, Department of Youth Development;
- Wen-yao Chang, Associate Researcher, Public Opinion Survey Center; and
- Hsiaoching Liu, Associate Researcher, Department of International Affairs.
The delegation expressed interest in meeting the local members of FAPA Young Professional Group. I think it will also be a great opportunity for us to hear directly from them about the latest situation in Taiwan.
So…the gathering/party will take place this Friday, November 21 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the party room of Crystal Plaza Apartments. The party room is located at the lobby of the apartment building. Just ring the bell when you arrive at the front door and the guard will buzz you in.
Please feel free to bring your friends who might be interested in this gathering. You must RSVP with me by Friday noon so that I know how many pizzas and soft drinks to order. Also feel free to bring your own (alcoholic) beverages. There is also a pool table and a big plasma TV in the party room. Julia Famularo will bring her extensive collection of Taiwanese pop songs music videos, so get ready for some fun!
Hope to see you there.
Iris
